Dance has always captivated my heart and soul from an early age...

I began to dance at age seven and by twelve was on pointe and had already received my first bouquet of pink flowers for being a soloist. I continued my dance training with Ballet Pacifica under the direction of Lila Zali in Laguna Beach when we relocated to South Orange County. While at San Clemente High School I concurrently maintained my honors programs work and performed solos for the dance department to such beautiful music as Bizet's "Carmen" and Tchaikovsky's Arabian from "The Nutcracker".

Fortunately I received scholarships to attend UC Irvine and was accepted with sophomore standing after graduating eighth in my high school class at Capistrano Valley. There, I was in the Dance department under the direction of choreographer, Eugene Loring of "Billy the Kid" fame and also majored in Political Science/ Marketing receiving my BA and Masters in a five year program that awarded both degrees.

Aiding my dance choreography and instruction has been my extensive background in theater. In the last fourteen years I have directed over thirty full length and one act plays in venues and theaters all over Orange County and was artistic director of a local community theater for many years in South County as well as the producer of the West Coast Ten Minute Play Contest and Festival.

Coaching and advanced education have always been a priority with me and I have worked with numerous Ballroom and Latin champions, among them: Claudio Rubio; Argentine Tango Champion of Buenos Aires, Argentina, Michael Mead and Toni Redpath; four time, four year in a row, US American Smooth Champions, Igor and Irina Suvorov; 3rd Place World Standard Champions, Nadia Eftedal; Winner of 9 different World and US Latin Championships and Lisa Narita; West Coast Swing, Hustle, and Night Club 2-Step US Champion.

At the following California competitions I competed in American Smooth: Waltz, Foxtrot, American Tango and Viennese Waltz:

I teach out of the DVIDA sanctioned syllabi for Argentine Tango, American Smooth and Rhythm and combine my experiences in the business and the artistic worlds to bring the concepts and step movement to my dance students in innovative and exciting manners.

My professional affiliations include: Pi Beta Phi fraternity, the National Dance Council of America, the Orange County Association of Bridal Consultants. and the American Civil War Society. Recently I incorporated both my business in ballroom dance, Our Wedding Dance and web designing, Anteater Web Design and I have traveled extensively throughout Europe and the South Pacific to take in new cultures and ideas.

Above is a very simple beginner's Argentine Tango dance that I recorded at about 3am when I was doing some recording work for wedding dances for another web site! It gives you an idea of how pretty something very elementary can be for you and your fiance.
